JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Manager oversees all activities associated with the repair and maintenance of the manufacturing equipment and facilities. Priorities include oversight and implementation of the established PM program, analyze problems, and interpret technical information necessary to make required repairs. Responsibilities include implementation of required repairs and recordkeeping using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The ability to plan, train, communicate and delegate is key to this position. This is a hands-on position, and the Maintenance Supervisor is also the chief maintenance technician.
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
SALARY: $100,000 -$130,000/annually DOE
LOCATION: Dracut, MA (on-site)
WHAT YOU'LL DO
· Oversee the operation and reliability of our Manufacturing infrastructure, including the thermal oxidizer, air compressor, chiller, and boiler.
· Detect and troubleshoot faulty operations to repair various types of production machinery, equipment, and facilities.
· Supervise electrical systems, diagnose malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, variable frequency drives, PLCs, and faulty wiring, while inspecting and testing malfunctioning machinery.
· Plan, schedule, and drive the execution of maintenance work.
· Monitor work requisitions from receipt to completion.
· Collaborate with vendors to secure support for Equipment Sustainability.
· Supervise and coordinate external contractors.
· Determine appropriate inventory levels for supplies, tools, and equipment, and maintain/monitor using cost-effective methods.
· Expedite purchase requests by researching item specifications, pricing, availability, and vendor selections.
· Provide leadership and supervision for a team of skilled Maintenance technicians.
· Maintain a clean and orderly condition in the equipment and maintenance shop.
· Keep accurate and complete records, documenting all work performed using CMMS.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
· BS Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
· 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in a manufacturing plant.
· Proficient with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
· Demonstrated experience with CMMS and/or another ERP tool.
· Adherence to all safety protocols outlined in Safety Programs or by governmental regulating authorities.
· Knowledge of electrical testing equipment and provable training in industry-standard NEC Lock Out/Tag Out.
· Strong knowledge of: Variable Frequency Drives, PLC's, equipment installations, maintenance, tools, and safety regulations.
· Ability to design and fabricate equipment is a plus.
